About L.A.R.G.E.

The K6LRG call sign is a club call, and the trustee for the call is Jon Schwartz, K6EWN, the clubs founder. Jon has been an amateur radio operator for many years, and currently works with several amateur operators within the club both contesting and maintaining the LARGE group repeaters.

Jon pulled together a group of enthusiastic and energetic team members to manage club operations, including  Adam Bertsch (KR6BD), Chris Tate (AF6JG) and Jim Davis (NN6EE).

There are opportunities for all amateur radio operators who want to get involved in repeater ops, contesting, or financially supporting the group.  We welcome amateur radio operators who want to get involved.

If you hang out on the hilltops of Livermore or the Tri-Valley area, or listen to local bay area repeaters, odds are you will run into one of us up on the hills or on the air
